I'm excited to share my journey as a senior broadcast journalism major at UT Arlington, where I've been honored as both an NBCU Academy and Telemundo Local Academy scholar. Serving as Vice President of Mav Media News and actively participating in News en Español, I've been deeply involved in various projects during my undergraduate studies.
My experience ranges from creating news segments to managing social media content. Through these activities, I've gained valuable skills and insights that have shaped me as a storyteller.

As the Vice President of Mav Media, it has been both a privilege and a pleasure to cultivate a passion for the industry among our members while providing unwavering support to my fellow board members. Over the course of my tenure, I've had the opportunity to immerse myself in every aspect of the news cast, from operating cameras to producing, directing, anchoring, and reporting.
Being an integral part of Mav Media for two years has undoubtedly been the highlight of my undergraduate journey. It's been incredibly rewarding to witness the growth and development of our team members and to contribute to the collective success of our organization.
Being a part of UTA Radio and hosting my own show has been an unforgettable experience that I hold dear. During my time on air, I had the wonderful opportunity to curate and present indie music, shaping the sound and vibe for an entire hour. This experience not only allowed me to express my passion for music but also honed my skills in radio console operation.
Beyond the technical aspects, my show provided a platform for me to connect with fellow UTA students through shared interests and favorite tunes. It was incredibly rewarding to engage with listeners and foster a sense of community through the power of music.
